Michelli Weighing & Measurement (“Michelli”), a portfolio company of Summit Park, is pleased to announce it has recapitalized American Scale, LLC (“American Scale” or the “Company”), a provider of industrial weighing services and equipment to a variety of industries. This partnership will expand Michelli’s operations into Kentucky and Indiana to enhance nationwide service and support.

Founded in 1985, American Scale is headquartered in Louisville, Kentucky and has two additional branches in Bowling Green, Kentucky and Evansville, Indiana. The Company has established a strong reputation for reliability and the high quality of services it provides, which includes installation, maintenance & repair, and test & calibration, as well as equipment and parts sales & rentals. American Scale’s customer base is highly diverse across end markets including mining aggregates, agriculture, manufacturing, and food & beverage, among others.

The partnership between Michelli and American Scale will enable Michelli to expand its operations into new, adjacent markets while continuing to serve its growing, nationwide customer base. American Scale represents the fourth acquisition by Michelli since partnering with Summit Park in 2023.
